Unwilling Barbarian
Barbarian Archetype
For some the path of the Barbarian is not a choice, it’s a curse that they are lucky if they can control.
Uncontrolled Rage
An Unwilling Barbarian cannot control his rage ability either to start or to end it. Preventing or Ending rage requires Will Saves with varying DCs. An unwilling barbarian never attacks allies while raged, but if they are still raging when all enemies are defeated they being to attack the nearest inanimate object until it’s destroyed and continue to do so until they exit rage.
Rage Triggers
Rage triggers are things that can trigger a rage.
Being Attacked
If a Unwilling Barbarian is attacked, but not injured he must make a DC 10 Will Save or enter rage on his next action.
Party Being Attacked
If the party is attacked the unwilling barbarian must make a DC 5 Will Save or enter rage. If the party is out numbered the DC increases by one for each additional opponent. If the party out numbers the attackers the DC decreases by one for each additional party member.
Being Damaged
If an unwilling barbarian is damaged he must make a DC 10 + the Damage taken Will Save or enter rage on his next action.
Being Hit with a Critical Hit
If an unwilling barbarian is hit with a confirmed critical hit they automatically enter rage on their next turn.
Leaving Rage
An unwilling barbarian cannot exit rage once he’s started unless all enemies are defeated, even then he continues to rage until he gets himself under control attacking nearby inanimate objects until they are destroyed.
On each round after combat ends the unwilling barbarian makes a will save DC 10 plus the number of rounds they were raged for. If they fail they attack the nearest unattended inanimate object with the weapon(s) they were last wielding when combat ended. For each round after the first the DC for this check decreases by two.
Rage automatically ends if the Barbarian runs out of rounds of rage.

A unwilling barbarian has a number willpower points equal to their wisdom modifier plus four, and they gain two each time they level after first level. Any time the barbarian is required to make a Will save of any kind they may use a point of willpower to give themselves a +1 to the save. At every third level the bonus granted by willpower increases by plus one. Only a single point of willpower may be used per will save. Additionally the barbarian can spend a point of willpower to attempt to exit rage, they get no bonuses for the point of willpower but can immediately make a new will save to exit rage against a DC 10 plus the number of rounds they were raged, this can be done once a round as a free action. The barbarian can use this ability while raged.
